Outfit Greetings from Sirmione

Day 2 at Lake Garda and once again our path took us to Sirmione. One would think, if you do sightseeing, fashion isn't that important. Not for me! I can not not think about my outfit in the morning. So before turning to the sightseeing part of that day, I'll show you our outfits of that day. And as it seems, as if my sis and my boyfriend love to pose, I sometimes have to force them.:)

One Evening in Sirmione

First evening at Lake Garda and as if we could have stayed at home at our appartment, although we knew, we were right next to some beautiful cities. After we relaxed for some hours, we then went to Sirmione, which was only a few kilometers away in search of a nice dinner, which we found after walking around for a while. And we also found some romantic alleys, just like a set of a medieval movie.

Welcome to Lake Garda

Ciao a tutti!
As I mentioned before in my previous travel post, we are staying in Italy here on my blog, because on my boyfriend's bday last month, we travelled to Lake Garda. I travelled a lot around Italy, but I never visited Lake Garda before. As a starting point we chose a holiday complex called Punta Gro, which is right between Peschiera del Garda and Sirmione and excellent to reach the places we had on our to-do-list like the Gardaland and Verona. It is also good to choose a hotel in the south of the lake, if you arrive at an airport in Milan and travel by train, like we did, because there are trainstations at Desenzano and Peschiera del Garda. When we finally arrived at our apartment, it was almost evening, but we still wanted to have a quick glance at the lake. I always expected it to be much smaller, but it is really has an impressive size. In April the water was still freezing, otherwise I would have jumped into the water.

Ciao a tutti!

Pinspiration May 16

Ciao! It has been a while, since I last made a post out of my monthly pins on Pinterest. But last month, to be honest, not many streetstylelooks really wowed me.
A big part of my May Pinterestboard were the looks from the Met Gala, which I already created a blogpost with. Then there were of course a few looks from bloggers and celebrities, which I liked and gathered some trends, which suited me the most. I also browsed through the onlineshops a bit, to get inspired. Fashion is definitely dominated by the clean cuts of the 90s at the moment. Normally I'm more the playful, girly and outrageous type, when it comes to clothing, but in some strange way, I really "get along" with that 90s-trend. Maybe because I grew up in the (late) 90s and I feel some sort of nostalgia

Ciao!

Rome - Vatican City, Sunny Streets & Food Market

Ciao a tutti! Today I show you my last pics from the ancient city and then we continue our journey towards - drummroll - the Lake Garda. So stay tuned!

But back to Rome! If you really want to squeeze out your holiday like a lemon, try to take your flight as late in the day as possible. So we still had some hours to stroll through the sunny streets and explore. I really recommend a hotel near the Vatican, because it's not as expensive as in the city centre, but still close to the action. And next to cultural eye candy you have affordable restaurants and shops there. By accident we also discovered an indoor marketplace, where we bought some last-minute souvenirs. And don't forget to negotiate a good price!:)

Ciao a tutti! So stay tuned!
