Cotton Candy Glitter

Hey folks! As photography, especially travelphotograpy, is my main topic, next to fashion (which I neglected a bit), I recently created a blog just for beauty related things, Cotton Candy Glitter. I think with makeup previews and reviews, my blog gets too chaotic. But  after all I still want to write blogposts about my favorite products and stuff here. 

The other thing is, that it's only in german, because so I get more done and don't need 10 hours for one post. This puts me off sometimes, when you know, that you need hours and hours to finish something. Then it's even harder to start something.

Hallo zusammen! Da ja Reisen, neben Outfits und Mode (was ich dringend wieder mehr machen muss:) mein Hauptthema ist, habe ich mich entschlossen, einen separaten Beautyblog zu starten. Die ganzen Makeupnews und Reviews haben einfach nicht mehr hier rein gepasst und den Blog ein wenig chaotisch erscheinen lassen. Trotzdem möchte ich noch über meine Lieblingsprodukte und Beautykram hier schreiben, nur nicht mehr so detailiert. Mein neuer Blog ist ausserdem auch nur auf Deutsch. So habe ich auch wieder mehr Motivation, wenn ich weiss, dass ich nicht 100 Jahre für einen blogpost brauche. Und es soll ja immerhin Spass machen oder wozu betreibt man einen Blog?!

Also alle Beautyjunkies unter euch, zack zack, auf zu Cotton Candy Glitter! Das Design befindet sich natürlich noch am Anfang. Heute habe ich zB. auch eine Makeup review zu Produkten der Essence trend edition Winter? Wonderful! veröffentlicht. Check that out!

Italian Travel Diary - EXPO Part 4

Sequel to  Part3, Part2, Part1

And it got even better, because in the end there were hightlights non-stop.

And even though it was getting dark, we felt like the parc got even fuller. But fortunatelly there were still some pavilions, which were open and didn't have a long cue anymore, like the polish one. I loved that wooden box construction and it somehow reminded me of an old Britney Spears video.:) But the hidden jem was the chill-out-(Alice in wonderland( that's how we called it))garden. Only some deckchairs were missing. And because we were in such a hurry, we neglected eating. After some back and forth thinking, because of the huge choice, we ate at a japanese foodtruck and from that spot we had the best view on the finale fireworks. And there was not only one, there were several on different places in the parc at the same time. It was amazing and probably one of the most impressive I have ever seen. As if they blew up a fireworks factory.

Und es wurde noch besser, denn zum Schluss gab es Highlights am laufenden Band. 

Und obwohl es schon dunkel wurde, kam es uns so vor als wäre es noch voller und nicht leerer geworden. Dennoch hatten wir Glück und es gab noch Pavillons die noch nicht geschlossen hatten und ohne lange Warteschlange, wie den polnischen. Diese Holzpalettenkonstruktion finde ich irgendwie total genial und sie erinnert mich ein wenig an ein Video von Britney Spears. Und noch cooler war der versteckte Alice-im-Wunderland-Garten. Eine perfekte Ruhezone nach all dem Trubel. Fehlten wirklich nur die Liegestühle und Hängematten dort.:) Und in unserem Gehetze haben wir auch das Essen ein wenig vernachlässigt. Nach viel Überlegen ,bei der ganzen Auswahl, sind wir dann an einem japanischen Streetfoodtruck hängengeblieben und hatten dann auch einen perfekten Ausblick auf das Abschlussfeuerwerk, bzw. wurden an mehreren Stellen des Parks Feuerwerke gleichzeitig gezündet. Es war wahrscheinlich eines der krassesten Feuerwerke, das ich bisher gesehen habe. Fast so als würde eine Feuerwerksfabrik in die Luft fliegen.

Italian Travel Diary - EXPO Milano Part 3

And off we go again!

After visiting some shops in the italian district, which crossed the mainroad, we then turned right, because we saw a huge building, which attracted us with the words "supermarket of the future".

I really felt like in a sciencefiction movie, with robots packing fruits and digitalized shelfs, where you can scan all the products and get any informations you need. I really have to collect and edit the videofiles, so you get better impressions. The same with the whole event and the pavilions. With photos it's not as easy to reflect the mood and atmosphere as with video footage.

So after that, to not get lost, we returned to the italian district, including a live performance by the italian acapella band Spritz of Five and then to the main axis. See part 1 and part 2.

Und weiter gehts..:) Im italienischen Distrikt angekommen, der ja die Hauptstrasse kreuzte, gingen wir dann rechts, da uns ein riesiges Gebäude anzog, auf dem "Supermarkt der Zukunft" stand. Anhand der Expokarte fiel ja erst bei meinem letzten blogpost auf, dss wir deshalb ja garnicht den italienischen Hauptpavillon gesehen haben. Aber ich meine, wir haben ja genug nicht gesehen. Im Supermarkt der Zukunkt kam man sich auch echt vor wie in einem Sciencefictionfilm, mit Robotern die das Obst einpacken und digitalisierten Regalen, an denen man jegliches Produkt einscannen konnte und dann sämtliche Informationen zu dem Produkt bekam. Ich muss unbedingt die Videodatein zusammentragen und zusammenschneiden, damit man bessere Eindrücke bekommt. Und dies trifft ja auf die ganze Expo und die Pavillions zu, denn die Stimmung kann fast nur durch

Videoaufnahmen wiedergegeben werden. Danach sind wir dann wieder in Richtung Hauptachse und durch den italienischen Komplex, um nicht die Orientierung zu verlieren, inklusive einer Live-performance der Acapellagruppe Spritz of Five.

Italian Travel Diary - Expo Milano Part 2

Ciao! 

We went to the Expo on its last day and just after a few steps, we knew, that it wouldn't be possible to see everything in just a day. But we never ever thought, that the area would be so spacious and there would be so much to see. One can imagine, that many people took advantage of their last oppurtunity to visit the Expo and therefore there were long queues in front of many pavilions, so we first visited the ones with any or short ones. And fortunately they grouped together many countries without an own, separate pavilion according to their main food product, so that we "saved" some extra time there. (See Part 1 here!)

After 2 thirds along the main road, there was the italian district, which was subdivided into regions and companies. But what I just notice now is, that we didn't even see the italian main pavilion.:)

Wir waren ja am letzten Tag der Expo dort und schon nach wenigen Metern bemerkten wir dann, 

dass die komplette Expo nicht in einemTag zu schaffen war, da wir nach einer Stunde nicht einmal bei der Hälfte angekommen waren.. Aber nie im Leben hätten wir uns auch vorstellen können, dass der Bereich so groß wäre und es so viel zu sehen gäbe. Wie man sich vorstellen kann, haben viele Besucher die letzte Chance genutzt und vor den meisten Pavillions gab es etrem lange Schlangen. Also sind wir erstmal nur in die, wo es recht zügig voran ging. Zum Glück waren die Länder ohne eigenen Pavillion in Themengebiete zusammengefasst, was uns ein wenig Zeit einbrachte.:)

Nach zwei Dritteln der Strecke entlang der Hauptstrasse befand sich dann das italienische Gebiet, welches wiederrum in Regionen und Firmen unterteilt war. (Karte der EXPO)

Haha, was mir gerade erst auffällt.. Wir waren ja nicht mal beim italienischen Hauptpavillion.:)
