Italian Travel Diary - EXPO Part 4

Sequel to  Part3, Part2, Part1
And it got even better, because in the end there were hightlights non-stop.
And even though it was getting dark, we felt like the parc got even fuller. But fortunatelly there were still some pavilions, which were open and didn't have a long cue anymore, like the polish one. I loved that wooden box construction and it somehow reminded me of an old Britney Spears video.:) But the hidden jem was the chill-out-(Alice in wonderland( that's how we called it))garden. Only some deckchairs were missing. And because we were in such a hurry, we neglected eating. After some back and forth thinking, because of the huge choice, we ate at a japanese foodtruck and from that spot we had the best view on the finale fireworks. And there was not only one, there were several on different places in the parc at the same time. It was amazing and probably one of the most impressive I have ever seen. As if they blew up a fireworks factory.

After that my sis and my parents took the train home, but as usual, my bf and I can never get enough and wanted to enjoy the Expo to the very last drop (literally:). So we tried to enter some pavilions, we saw on our way at noon. The first one was the malaysian, but that one was more beautiful from the outside than the inside. We remembered the brasilian pavilion, where we went next and this time we were lucky, because the queue wasn't that long anymore. This was one of the most amusing, because it mainly consisted of a flexible network, just like a big playground for adults (and kids). Next to that was the south-korean one, which took us to the future or into the set of the movie "The island". The exit was right next to the ENEL-pavilion, which we visited before, but now you could see all the colourful lights. They played very loud electronic music there and that's how I imagine a "future club". So there we started dancing and I'm sure, if there would have been a bar or something like that, there would have been hundreds of people dancing beneath the lights.:) So next we went to the Holland area, which was like a small funfair, with foodtrucks, drink stand and a stage with Djs playing. There was the inofficial closing party, where we danced for some hours. And because it was so warm, I felt like on a summer party. By accident we also saw the "tree of life" on the way to the toilet.:)
