Christmas & NYE

Food, food and again food..

Notice to self: don't edit foodphotos in the evening! Now I'm soo hungry!
And I feel as if I gained 5 kilos after the holidays. Don't be surprised, that the present pics are at the end of the post, because somehow we didn't manage to do that earlier. So we moved it to the 6th of January. So watch and get hungry! Ah, and I forgot to mention all of the dogphotos.

Christmas Outfit - Winter Fairy

Happy New Year! I'm back again, after too much food and parties.(Ok, not really many parties, just the NYE one,but now I have a cold) No time to update the blog. Shame on me! And somehow we didn't even manage to exchange our gifts.:) So we pushed it back to the 6th of January, which means today. Maybe.;) So bevor I continue with my travelpics from Milan and Rome, I show you our christmas and NYE celebrations, starting with my outfit. Yes, only one outfit for christmas, because why should you dress up, when you are just at home eating and watching tv all the time? So now it is our tradition to go to a chinese restaurant on the first or second day of christmas and there I wanted to take the opportunity to take some outfit pics. With this weather at the moment, it is barely possible for me to take outfitpics outside. I had this dress in my closet for a while now and never wore it, even though I brought it with me on holiday twice I think. I found it at Tk Maxx, I think, almost 2 years ago and only noticed now, at the restaurant, that you can turn the sequins and make a white dress into a silver one.:) And because it's like a Tshirtdress, I could easily hide my foodbaby.:)

Frohes Neues! Shame on me!

Christmas Throwback

Two weeks have passed since Christmas! Wtf?! I can't believe how time flies. To get back into the christmas spirit, here are the pics I shot during the holidays.
My main-activities: Cooking, eating and unwrapping presents.:) On christmas eve we didn't make cookies, but the the polish filled pasta Piroggi. These always remind us of our late maternal grandmother, who always used to make them during the holidays.
My father made his italian delicacies, like Pittule (small balls of fried dough with varying ingredients)and fish soup, he traditionally prepares every year. The other day we went to one of our favorite restaurants in our neighborhood. It's a chinese one with a big buffet. You can choose from various dishes or use the mongolian barbecue, for which you can select the vegetables and meat or fish by yourself and get your individual meal prepared.
